Breaking News:​ PM Supports His Son Hun Manet to be the Next PM

Sihanoukville: Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced his full support to his son Hun Manet to vie for the seat of the next Prime Minister of the Kingdom. However, he says Hun Manet must go through an election. This was revealed by Prime Minister Hun Sen during his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the infrastructure projects in Preah Sihanouk province on Thursday morning.

The Prime Minister has expressed his anger towards the opposition for accusing his son as a son of a Vietnamese leader. He has added that he has raised his son well not to be a thief and he wants him to be the next leader of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The 44-year-old eldest son of Prime Minister Hun Sen was the first Cambodian to graduate from the West Point Military Academy in the United States and also the Doctor of Economics at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.Currently, he has the rank of three-Star Lieutenant General as the Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.
